From 9-18 June, the biennial 2 Degrees Festival, celebrates art inspired by climate change, Across 10 days catch an eclectic array of performance, installations, creative sessions, talks and discussion for all ages designed to inspire, inform and provoke: discover what climate change tastes like at the Micro Food Bar, sampling micro snacks created by local organisms altered by climate change; bring a sturdy bag and take a piece of coal or two taken from several tonnes piled high at The Old Truman Brewery and then bury it; children are invited to join a live performance revealing a rolling list of climate facts; join sound and climate experts to witness the sound of dying planet or consider the future of our planet with author and political economist Andrew Simms for Neoliberalism's break-up tour.
