Lacey Contemporary Gallery is excited to present two Spanish painters Angel Fuster and Emilio Puya together for their first collaboration in London, this March 2016. This collaboration is curated by Spanish curator and art dealer Pilar Cocero. Born in Madrid, Cocero is also an internationally exhibited artist showing works in countries including USA, France, Spain and Argentina.
Angel Fuster lives and works in his studio in Madrid. Past exhibitions include, Nina Torres Fine Art Gallery, Miami (2015) and a solo exhibition at ISAAG Gallery, Washington DC (2015). Pilar Cocero is proud to bring Fuster's work to London for the second time after a previous London show at Brick Lane Gallery in 2014. Angel is represented by various private collections in Europe and the United States.
Emilio Puya (born 1949 in Ferrol, Spain) has exhibited works at Amsterdam Whitney Gallery and shown works at art fairs Artexp, New York and Feria DEARTE, Madrid. Puya combines elements, symbols and enigmas to communicate a personal world of emotions and intentions. Through his painting, he attempts to open his personal world to the public eye. Puya reveals the great Spanish painter Joan Miró as inspiration in his works and approach to painting.
Opening on the 16th March with a private view at the gallery (6pm), the exhibition will continue until the 26th March 2016. For information, images or to register your interest in this event email [email protected]
