Three, is an exhibition of works by Alison Groom, Jane Wachman and Damian Woodford comprising of contrasting reactions to abstraction. Each artist distinct from the others, brings their own sense of colour in joyous abundance. Graham A Hunter, as curator enjoys the contrast. He says "We should celebrate the variety that exist amongst artists, a room full of paintings, all by one hand, demands something different of us. When there are multiple hands at work it might be argued that our concentration is extended." Each of our three artists is long established; each has a different voice, yet there is communality to be found. Human beings love to make connections, will make connections, connecting, rationalising and compartmentalising is what we all do. We would love to hear from you about what you find.
