Exploring Ceramics - Pots and Images shows a selection of porcelain and stoneware pots made by local ceramicist Leslie Parrott; the wide range of unusual colours are the result of many years of exploring glaze composition, type of clay, surface texture, kiln construction and firing process.  In addition to functional pots there are small ceramic sculptures and images relating to the making and use of ceramics. The images are a blend of photography and digital painting. The display reflects the potters interests in early oriental pots, modern studio ceramics, sculpture, networking with other potters and artists and trying to understand the wide range of processes involved.

Leslie is exhibiting at The Attic gallery, the upstairs of a 17th century grade II listed building and home to Pinner's oldest shop. This unique and intimate space retains many of its original features and creates an atmospheric setting for art.
