Blow*Up*Dolls is the second stage in a body of work by London based Australian artist Mackenzie Scott Clowes. Following on from a showing of work in progress some time ago these new pieces will exhibit from 7 - 9th November 2013.
Blow*Up* Dolls (stage 2) will open on Thursday November 7th 2013 from 6 - 9 pm in the gallery above the artist's studio in Hackney Wick. It will then run through Friday 8th and Saturday 9th.

Icons and anti-icons sit together in a kind of symbiosis. What we adore and fear, what we aspire to and can never achieve are flipsides. Small moments of playful familiarity and suburban twee that inhabit our memory and collective dreams with sinister overtones.
