TOM EVETTS, LANDSCAPE ARTIST, NEW EXHIBITION, TERRA FIRMA AT GALLERY 8, Duke Street, London SW1Y 6BN Presented by Leonora Martin Fine Art Following his first sell-out show at The Osborne Studio Gallery in 2013, Tom Evetts, 24, will be holding "Terra Firma", his second solo exhibition of over 50 paintings from 27th May - 1st June 2014. 

 Terra Firma is 'all about land and sea”, Tom explained as he described his recent forays to the far North of Scotland, the Pembrokeshire coast, Cornwall, and Ireland. 'But the show doesn't just focus on the far flung corners of the British Isles”, he went on, 'it also includes gypsy scenes from Seamer Horse Fair and images of London, Exmoor and Newmarket; favourite haunts of mine". Recently described by the artist Tod Ramos as having an assured hand and a mature comprehension of his chosen genre, Tom says that painting vivid pictures of much loved places allows him to show how light affects colour as it develops during the day and throughout the year.
