In this installation by Saelia Aparicio we will find a dystopian narrative inspired by the J.G Ballard novel and David Chronenberg film Crash (1996), the anime Akira and the theory of the abject formulated by Julia Kristeva. We will find a Sci-fi Costumbrism [the literary or pictorial interpretation of local everyday life, mannerisms, and customs] creating a landscape where dismembered car parts blend with body-like shapes.
